the camp staff will consist of collegiate coaches at the d-i, d-ii, d-iii, and naia levels, as well as some of the area's top high school coaches and club directors. their job will be to instruct the campers through all drills, skills, and instruction. the staff will also include special guest speakers, and former and current collegiate players. guest speaker sessions guest speakers and nationally known experts from the upmc sports medicine department will conduct sessions covering these topics. this will be conducted by dr. aimee kimball, director of mental training for the upmc center for sports medicine. these will be held in two separate sessions with the latter designed for the parents. this session will be conducted by member of local schools compliance departments to help parents better understand the recruiting process. new this year, the overnight campers will be staying in the newly-renovated and air-conditioned dorms on campus testing will be done at the camp and will be documented. this includes height, standing reach, spike jump, block jump, and other measurements. campers will have an opportunity to play in a competitive tournament. |
